We faced another new chicken issue when Ester decided to push too hard while laying and prolapsed her vent. If it isn't one thing around here it is another! Talk about a stressful situation, but I am happy to report all is well.
Since doing yard improvements, it has become the hang out spot for humans and critters alike. We enjoyed many a days outside with out critter friends. I think we are all looking forward to summer, with warmer weather and lots of treats!
So what made me smile this week?
Hanging with my bestest chicken girl, Goldie. I love this hen!
My baby lilac bush I planted. I can't wait till it is big enough to bloom!
Ester was not thrilled by the hospital pen or her extended stay in the
house after she prolapsed her vent, but she managed to improve and
not prolapse again, so I am a happy girl.
While Ester might still be upset with me for the whole hospital
pen thing, it was good to see her back in the yard with her
friends, even if it was in my new hosta bed.
Ducky pool party!!!!!! These guys always crack me up.
The littles aren't so little anymore and are spending all day outside.
They will soon be joining the big girls.
Saturday was the oldest country kid's once a month autism spectrum
group at the zoo. He had a great time learning how to draw a red panda.
The littlest country kid got to meet a rat and was a little excited as you can see!
And who says a peacock has to be bright and colorful to be handsome?
This gentleman was breath taking to watch.
Remember to take time out of your busy day to find your own things to make you smile!
