Nite Guard Solar Prize Pack Giveaway

I am so excited for today's Spring Fling Giveaway, Nite Guard Solar!!! Why am I so excited? Because if you have livestock or a garden, you have predators and Nite Guard is your solution! Whether you live in a rural or urban setting, there are critters out there and they are hungry. Even if you don't see them during the day, I promise you, they lurk in the dark.

Nite Guard, LLC’s owners, Jim & Betty Meyer invented this product back in 1997 to stop predation on their farm. And you know what? This simple solar powered, environmentally friendly, weatherproof system WORKS.  Nite Guard's lights have been proven effective in repelling predator animals through overwhelming evidence from testing by their company AND the tens of thousands of product users. Nite Guard has very generously offered our winner a total of four of these lights, which can be used to create a perimeter around your poultry or a defense around you garden! They even provide detailed instructions for installation on their website, so you know you have them positioned for effective use against predators in your area.

I love that these units are solar powered and made to stand up to any kind of weather. The units turn on automatically each night, responding to low light, not motion. You just place them and they go to work for three years or more! Each unit produces a red LED flash of light that has a range of ½ mile or more to repel predators. Each unit also comes with a 90 day full money back guarantee, and a 1 year warranty against mechanical failure.

A few years back we had a weasel attack in our coop. Ever since that awful event, we have been using Nite Gaurd Solar lights. Our units have been out for years now in rain, snow, ice, you name it. Michigan weather goes from one extreme to another, some times in the same day! Heck, the littlest country kid got a hold of one of our solar lights that had been out for two year and "played" with it all day. It stood up to the rough and tumble play of a four year and is back on our coop, still working!

Nite Guard isn't JUST for livestock, gardens and homesteaders.....

These lights are great for protecting property from human predators as well. The flash from the Nite Guard lights appears to be an activated security system! You can protect your home, campsite, and other property with these wonderful lights as well.

You can purchase Nite Guard lights here or throw your name in for a chance to win a set of 4 solar lights plus a roll of Repellent Tape!! This tape is wonderful in deterring predators from the sky. Don't be like my neighbor and her Mylar Elmo balloon..... Use a quality product to repel hawks, owls, and other birds of prey!

  5. My chickens free range but their coop is in a large fenced yard they can be contained in if we need to. My small garden is also within this area (chicken wired to the hilt!). These lights and tape would be enough to protect the entire area from nighttime critters. Only wish there was some kind of protection from destructive ground squirrels. They are a constant battle!

  8. I've grown grapes for 5 years or so, i'd like to taste some before the raccoons or squirrels or ---whatever-- it is that is eating them before i even know they are ripe. we also get skunks, feral cats and possums that dig around and make a mess....but my biggest trouble are woodchucks, i wonder if the units would scare the snot out of a scouting woodchuck around sunrise? i think it would be worth a try.

  20. Over the course of a month, we had a fox take 4 of our teenaged turkeys and then a hen off her nesting box while she was sitting on a clutch of almost hatched eggs. The bold thing came within 10 feet of me during broad daylight about a week later. We are definitely stepping up our security measures! These would be put to immediate use.

What an awesome opportunity! My flock was decimated by repeated raccoon attacks and I'm now hesitant to build it back up without some more security than I had before.
