High Caliber Jewelry Giveaway

Today's Spring Fling is an exciting one because it comes to us from one of YOU. That's right folks, Angie from High Caliber Jewelry and Accessories is part of the (mis)Adventures family. I was so excited last year when she expressed that she would like to offer something for the Spring Fling this year. I always knew folks who followed the (mis)Adventures we some of the most wonderful and generous people! So here ya go folks, an amazing jewelry prize pack hand crafted by Angie!

The neat thing about her jewelry is that it is all handcrafted right here in the USA, to ensure that each customer receives exactly what they want. All of the casings she uses have been spent, turning someone else's waste into a treasure! That's right, this jewelry is made from bullets that have been shot.

When the package arrived with some examples of her work for me to look over, they were so pretty that at first I didn't even notice the spent casings she used. It took me a second to remember that each piece did indeed have a spent casing. The casings blend so nicely into the pieces and house the Swarovski crystals perfectly! Of course my littlest country kid had to examine the "treasure" that had come in the mail. And let me tell you, he scrutinized each and every piece. This kid LOVES bling.

Of course he had to try on every piece that came. And I must say, for being a four year old boy, he rocked this jewelry! After managing to get the necklace back from him, I was delighted to discover it opened and was a locket with a place to put a tiny photo. All I could think was, awwww. I have never had a locket to keep my boys photo in. In the end he tried to take off with the ring, but I told him not this time, this ring was mama's!

Angie makes all sorts of jewelry from spend casings including but not limited to earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, cuff-links and tie tacks. She can even turn your own casing into a beautiful piece to remember a special hunt. Just think of your son or daughter's first deer. You could present him with a tie tack or her with a necklace with the casing from the bullet used. What a truly special way to remember this milestone. Check out some examples of Angie's beautiful work.....

Angie is offering one winner the chance to take home a set of jewelry similar to the one she sent me. How generous is that?!?! The winner will get to select the caliber of spent casings used as well as the Swarovski crystal colors. You really should pop over to her photo gallery on her website and check out some of the amazing pieces she has done. And don't worry if you don't know caliber sizes (cause I don't), Angie can help you in the selection process.

This giveaway is open to US residents only.
