2 Boys 1 Homestead 4 Pack Soap Giveaway

We haven’t used commercially made soap in over three years here at the (mis)Adventures house. The fact that commercial soaps contain so many unidentifiable ingredients and that those harsh chemicals make my hubby’s eczema worse, were the leading factors in our family going to a handcrafted soap. Recently our goat milk soap supplier decided to focus their goat's milk into cheese making and we were forced to hunt for a new “official” soap of the (mis)Adventures household.

Now, not all handcrafted soaps are the same, and I am VERY picky about my soap. There is just a certain way my skin feels after showering that not all soaps can give me. And I don’t want to be overwhelmed by the scent of my soap, either. For months we searched and lathered but we just couldn’t find a soap we all loved, that is till we tried the soap from 2 Boys 1 Homestead. I finally found a soap that not only can I “live with,” but it gave me that clean skin feeling I so missed!!!! We finally have  a new official soap maker!!

2 Boys 1 Homestead’s soap had the right scent amount, in my opinion. Their bars of soap are not over powering because they only use essential oils, not an added fragrance. When we got our first bar of lemon soap, the littlest country kid loved the smell of it so much, I had it pry it from his fingers in order to use it because he wouldn't stop sniffing it! I like that I could pick up the hint of lemon while I am showering with this soap, but I didn't come out of the shower smelling like a lemon!

Not only did I get that wonderful clean feeling and just the right amount of scent, we were delighted the soap didn't make the eczema on hubby’s legs burn or further dry out his skin! Success!!! And I am not really that surprised after seeing the ingredients that 2 Boys 1 Homestead use in their soaps.  They use olive, canola, coconut and castor oil, along with beeswax, essential oils, and lye to make the soap. Hey, I can not only read each of those, but I know what they are!

We have used their Rose, Cedar and Lemon scents, but they also have Geranium, Patchouli, and Honeysuckle (which I want to try next.) I highly recommend that if you're looking for quality handcrafted soap, these are the guys you want to buy soap from!

And just for you, 2 Boys 1 Homestead have generously offered up a 4 pack of soaps to one of you lucky readers! That's right, you get four bars of soap in the scents you want. Pick one scent or mix and match em!

This giveaway is open to US residents only.

  14. I am very excited about this giveaway. I've made soap in the past and I love lye soap. I also still make my own lotions and stuff, and I have lots of essential oils that I use. I have too many favorite scents, but citrusy ones are my faves as well as Eucalyptus and Geranium Rose (I use Geranium Rose as hormone replacement on bottoms of my feet every morning along with Clary Sage).
