  8. We don't own any poultry (YET!). But we will soon!! My favorite are ducks. When I was a young girl, we saved a duckling and she was such a wonderful member of our family. I can't wait for my children to share the joy that I got to experience.

  10. Orpingtons and Marans are my favorite for eggs. But my favorite chicken ever was a pet roo, he was an 'oops' in a 4-H Chick Chain kit and we had him for years!

  20. I just got chickens for the first time. I drove 2 hours to pick up chicks from a breeder and have been raising them...built my own coop with a garden on top, just finished a run. I'm scared to put them outside by themselves!! I like reading about how to keep them safe and healthy and I give them organic food and things from my garden. Spoiled chickens!
