It's never too cold for Ice Cream Pie!!
So how does one make ice cream pie? Well I use a homemade graham cracker pie crust. I guess you could buy one, but these are so easy to make, why would you want to! Simply run about 12 graham crackers through your food processor (or you could just beat them to death in a bag with a rolling pin), mix it with 1/4 cup sugar and 1/3 cup melted butter. Press the mix into a pie pan and back at 375 for around 10 minutes.
Once ours had set up I took it out and let it sit for a couple minutes, cut it, and put it back in the freezer all wrapped up so that when it was time to serve it was easy peasy. If you want to take it a step further you can drizzle carmel or chocolate on each piece. So are you drooling yet? I told you ice cream was for anytime.... especially when it is pie!
