So if you can't cook or when your in a pinch, why not try my "super simple soup" also know to normal people as Broccoli Cheese Soup.
- 1 can (14.5 oz) of chicken broth
- 1 can of water
- 1 to 2 heads of broccoli depending on size
- Velveeta (or similar non name brand)
Next cut the tips (the little bushy bunches) off of the heads of the broccoli. You could use more of the broccoli but I am lazy, I'll admit it. I don't like to chop! I put the cut off little tree tops in boiling water and let them cook. Next I cube up the cheese. If it is a big pack of say Velveeta, use about half. You can always add more later if it is not cheesy enough for you.
Plop the cheese cubes into the broth. When the broccoli is tender, throw that in the slow cooker too! Stir it up to combine. Guess what? Your done! I said it was super simple didn't I. And if you want to be extra sassy, make a double batch and freeze some for another night!
